The Potion Place. It was a ridiculous name that brought to mind bad Disney-Halloween children's movies.  Most people walked right past the tiny hole-in-the-wall business, dismissing it as scams and hippie nonsense. But not Lexi. Long ago, her friend Caroline had shown her how real it was. Caroline had turned into a mirror. Right in front of Lexi's very eyes.

Lexi thought back to that day the summer before college had started. Caroline had snuck some of the potion from her mother (and later was punished for weeks). “It turns you into a talking mirror. You know, like in 'Snow White'?”

“Right, Caroline. Right,” Lexi had retorted. “That stuff will probably kill you, and it's illegal for you to drink anyway. It says right there on the bottle, 'for use of persons 18 and up'.”

Caroline glanced down at the warning. “I'm gonna be eighteen next month. Too bad.” She uncorked it, her hand shaking.

“Don't you think if this transforming stuff was real, everyone would know about it and go to that store?”

“The man there says there's some kind of spell that only allows the ones that 'truly deserve' to take notice of his store.”

Lexi ran a hand through her brown hair and chuckled. “So your parents are truly deserving, huh? And how do you know it'll do anything?”

Caroline put her face into Lexi's. “I saw.”

“What do you mean, you saw?”

“It's really gross, but, well, my dad had turned my mom into the mirror, he had her lying on the bed like that, and, well, he was...on her–”

“Oh, my God, I so don't want to hear about that!” Lexi cried, but the curiosity leaked back. “Are you sure it was your mom?”

“The freaking mirror had my mom's face on it, Lexi! And the sounds they both were making...”

“Okay, too much info again...”

“I want this. I want this so bad. I want to turn into something. The bottle says it lasts eight hours. Can you stay with me the whole time I'm transformed?”

To humor Caroline, Lexi agreed to stay with her, though still not believing a word of what she claimed. Caroline had told her parents she was sleeping over Lexi's that night, so all would be well – except if either of Caroline's parents felt the need to turn into a mirror that night. Which of course, they had, and Caroline ended up paying dearly for her transgression.

Lexi watched her friend's transformation with embarrassment. It seemed immensely pleasurable, and as Caroline groped herself, Lexi turned away. “No, no watch me change. Please,” begged the half-girl, half-object. Fascinated by the impossibility before her, Lexi now found she could not peel her eyes from the sight. Caroline's legs were fusing together, forcing her to collapse to the floor. Her arms were becoming part of her rectangulating body, and her head was melding with her angular shoulders. She could only moan now, in a world beyond any one that Lexi inhabited at the moment. She grew smooth and glassy, her face having migrated to the middle of her new form. Her eyes were squeezed shut and her features were twisted in an expression of ecstasy. Lexi rapidly became envious.

“I'm a mirror!” Caroline burst out, her shiny eyes opening wide. “And it's the best thing that's ever happened to me! I never felt...so...awesome! Ever!” And from then on, Lexi vowed to visit the Potion Place on her own.

Lexi's dreams of transforming were shattered on her very first visit to the store. She entered, expecting exactly what met her eyes. Shelf after dusty shelf was covered with bottles of all shapes and sizes, sporting every imaginable description. “Pony potion”, “object of your choice”, “statue”, “shrink”, “bug”, “rabbit”...The possibilities appeared to be endless, and Lexi was flummoxed as to what to try first. She clutched her purse in hand excitedly, and approached the bored-looking old man who sat at the counter, measuring powder into a bottle.

“How much for the 'object of your choice' one?” she queried.

He glanced up from behind his glasses. “My dear, how old are you?”

Lexi cast down her eyes. This man did not seem like a person to lie to. “Seventeen.”

“Come back when you're eighteen.”

“You won't let me..?”

“No. I'm an honest man. But just so you know, these items are also not on sale for pocket change. These potions are very hard to make. Some take ages to create, and the materials are very hard to come by. Now, an all-inclusive one like 'object' will cost you more than a specific change one like 'dog'.”

“Okay, so...how much for...'trophy'?” That sounded like fun to Lexi.

“'Trophy?' Oh, I love being a trophy.” He looked into a book. “That's on sale for nineteen-ninety-nine.”

“Oh, I could buy that in a heartbeat!”

“That's one thousand, nine hundred, ninety-nine dollars, my friend.”

Lexi gulped. “Oh.” Wordlessly, she retreated to the door. It would be a while before she could get her hands on that kind of money. Everything needed to go to college tuition, board, and living expenses. She would have nothing left over for trifles.

As she grasped the doorknob, one bottle caught her eye. “Melter's Delight.” She picked it from the shelf and read the description: “Be a goo-girl or an ooze-man! With this delicious potion, you gain the ability to melt down to any shape you choose! Be a puddle! Be two puddles! Evaporate yourself into a cloud! With this new-improved formula, if you drink enough, you gain twinning power! That's right- divide yourself into two living, thinking, gooey you's! Lasts eight hours.”

She placed the bottle on the shelf and faced the man. “One day I will come back for this. Make a whole bunch of them for me.” And she walked out.

College was tough on Lexi. She worked two jobs with an intense schedule of courses. She merely squeaked by money-wise as well as grade-wise. Spending hard-earned cash on unnecessary items was simply out of the question. Thus, obtaining a transformation potion was put off for the time being.

Lexi began to date a classmate named Jordan, and by senior year, they were engaged to be married. The wedding was set for September after graduation. It would take place at the local country club where Jordan's family belonged, and then the newlyweds would be off to the Bahamas for their honeymoon.

Lexi stared down at the tickets in her hand. She had made the arrangements, and the honeymoon suite was reserved at a lavish hotel. There was one more long-awaited event to prepare for.

“Jordan, I'm going to ask you for a bit more money. I have something I'd like to share with you on our honeymoon. I've been waiting years for this, and I want you to be part of it.”

Jordan had come in to visit her after a full day of classes and his job. “Sure, but let's go to dinner while we talk, okay?”

“I'd rather talk about this first. Here.”

Jordan looked peeved, but he remained silent.

Lexi took a deep breath. “See, there's this potion I want to use with you–”

Her fiance began to laugh. “Potion?”

“Yes, from the Potion Place.”

“You mean that little crappy store?” He watched her nod. “Lexi, do you believe in that stuff?” he asked incredulously.

“I've seen it. My friend turned into a mirror right in front of me.”

“A mirror, huh?” Jordan was now regarding her as one would a little child – who had just reported seeing an alligator under their bed.

“Yup.”

Flabbergasted, he began, “Lexi, I know you like fantasy, and so do I. But people can't do that.”

Lexi twisted her face, about to retort, but he cut in gently, “how much is this stuff?”

She inhaled deeply. “Well, maybe two thousand dollars?”

Jordan's mouth fell open, and he grew angry. “You'll pay two thousand dollars for a scam? What the hell is wrong with you? Seriously?”

“Oh, please, Jordan! It's not a scam! Just give me the money!”

“No! That's utterly ridiculous. And, come on, you think you saw your friend turn into a mirror? I always thought there was something off about you, Lexi.”

“Jordan! Please! It's real! And I really want to try it!”

“Why the hell would anyone want to be freaking mirror, for God's sake?”

“It feels nice?”

Jordan made a loud whistle. “You are...damn, I really think you're crazy.”

“Oh, Jordan, give me the money and I'll show you. You'll seriously love it.”

“It's all money in the end with you. I mean, my family's paying for this whole damned wedding! You're going overboard with it, and we're paying for it all. Your family has nothing, so we're doing everything, and you never even thanked us for it. So no, I'm not giving you even more money to spend on...garbage!”

“How...dare you!” Lexi's lip quivered. “I'm sorry I'm not one of the one percent. I wasn't born rich like you. But you don't have to pay for garbage. Don't pay for the wedding either! That's more garbage than anything else!”

“Oh, Lexi! Shut the hell up!”

But Lexi stormed off, and despite patching things up, it was never the quite the same between them. The wedding was called off only days before it was slated to occur.

Lexi sat on her bed, studying the airline tickets on her nighttable. They were non-refundable, as was the already-paid-for hotel room. She was trying to sell the tickets online, along with several engagement party gifts she had received. She had attempted to return what she could, but the very rich old aunts on Jordan's side...well...she didn't really want to deal with them just yet.

She had had quite a bit of success selling the gifts online, but no luck with the tickets.

And then it hit her. She had a hotel room, and now she had money to spare. Jordan had said it was so little money that she could keep it. After all, the rich bastard didn't need it anyway.

So Lexi had a trip to take.

She had never vacationed on her own, but the idea was greatly appealing to her. She had only been working since graduation in May, but her boss understood the situation and was willing to allow her to take her vacation now. And take it she would.

She entered the Potion Place, feeling like she had lived a whole lifetime since she'd been here last. The same old man sat behind the counter. He glanced up when the bell on the doorway announced her arrival. “Ah,” he said matter-of-factly. “I knew you'd be back.” He motioned to a shelf nearby. “I have them ready for you. You're fortunate that they have such a long shelf life. That 'spaghetti' bottle there has sat on that same shelf since I opened this store, and it's still good.”

“Wow. I bet it would be fun to be spaghetti.”

“I'll give it to you for fifteen hundred.”

Lexi's eyes widened, then closed into slits. “Maybe next time.”

Lexi scooped up the three potion bottles that sat in the dust. Yes, twenty-four hours as something else sounded just about right.

The empty seat beside her on the plane was painful to view, but when Lexi walked into the honeymoon suite of the hotel, her heart leapt with joy. This was all hers, and there was no one here to bother her. She could be whatever she wanted for as long as she wanted, and there was no one to stop her. And if she chose not to venture from that room the whole vacation, that was fine. Even if she wanted to spend it in its entirety as a puddle of goo!

She read the back of the bottle carefully. As excited as she was, she was anxious as well. After all, she was effectively changing her whole body. Judging from watching Caroline all those years ago, it certainly was not a painful experience, but nonetheless, she still harbored a bit of fear at the thought.

She would start with a small bit. It would not last as long, and the twinning ability stepped in only after one had downed a half bottle, but there was plenty of time for that. Right now, she just wanted to turn into something simple.

With a shaking hand, she uncorked the bottle and took a few gulps. The flavor was surprisingly normal, almost like the grape-flavored medicine she used to take as a child. As it went down her throat, it felt tingly, and the sensation began to spread. “Oh, here goes!” she cried, enchanted. Carefully, she re-corked the bottle and set it on the oak dresser beside her. She turned towards the mirror, and gave a small gasp as the tingles reached her crotch and down her legs. “Caroline was right! Oh, my God! It feels...wonderful! Jordan, in your own way, you've made me much happier...Oof!” She staggered as her legs began to wobble under her. She caught a last glimpse of her face in the mirror, crying out in amazement. She was becoming transparent, and everything was running together. Her clothes were sagging to the floor. “I have to...get...into the...middle of the...room,” she pushed from her softening lips. She could feel them combining, melting into the rest of her so she could no longer speak...

But then I can't breathe? The thought did not bother her in the least, however, for the changes were so phenomenal. She stumbled on shaky legs, desperately trying to get into the empty middle of the room...so she could flow freely...

She crashed to the ground with an encouraging splat. She was now more ooze than human, and her figure was melting away. She tried to grasp at herself wherever she could, but after a few weak attempts (as good as they felt), there were no hands left to use. She was liquifying into a pool of ooze, a beatific expression left on her jelly-like features which dissolved into nothingness.

And Lexi was a puddle, half-covered by her clothes.

She wanted to cry out in victory; to share with the world how wonderful it felt. But she could not move, let alone speak. She realized taking only a small amount had left her immobile.

Yet, in this form, it did not matter in the least. What puddle of goo ever worried about being stationary? The feeling of being amorphous, her form flat and spread evenly over the wooden floor, was beyond compare! She could feel the very grains of the wood against her, and she wished desperately she could rub herself against them. Just the idea sent shivers of excited ecstasy through her, and she knew she had to try this with the next, larger amount of potion that she would ingest.

It felt rather funny that part of her remained in the sleeve of her shirt. She would have to remember to disrobe when she used these potions as it seemed to only affect her body.

Meanwhile, she lay happily in place, luxuriating in her form while her mind mulled over the catastrophic past months. She had had doubts about Jordan from the beginning, but she was young, he was dashing, and...well, he had money. And her mother always hinted to marry someone rich.

Thanks, Mom...

But, if none of this had happened with Jordan, then she might not have been able to turn into anything for several years until she was able to save up the money on her own. And the thought of having to wait any longer for this bliss she had always dreamed of simply made her wince.

I won, Jordan. I don't need you.

She must have fallen asleep, because soon she noticed a strange sensation filling up her flatness, pushing it into some kind of shape. She was thickening, and she realized with excitement that she was changing back.

Which meant it was time for a bigger dose!

When she was able to stand, she stumbled to the mirror to watch her face re-form. Her features re-emerged, and color bled back in until she was all back in place. Before she tried the second dose, she went back on the bed and lay down. There were a few urges she needed to satisfy before she proceeded.

With the downing of a second, larger dose, the transformation sped up slightly. Lexi grabbed at her changing skin, letting it balloon out between her thumb and forefinger. What a stimulating sensation that was! Then her fingers grasped lower and lower...

“Oh, God!” she gasped.

Then there were no more fingers left to use, but that was okay. She had done what she needed to do, and in a changing form, well, that release was almost as good as the transformation itself...

“I'm changing...I'm going...” she dissolved to the floor, a gooey puddle once more, and the familiar form was even more pleasing, if possible. “Mmm...feels good,” she breathed, and to her surprise, the actual words echoed through the room. To her further joy, bubbles had formed when she had spoken, popping with each word. When she closed her 'lips', the action formed a very large bubble. She could feel the pressure as it built up, and the burst made her sigh in deep pleasure, which made her surface shiver delectably. All of her was puddle, and each and every bubble was part of herself. And the thought of being so bubbly sent her into giggles. Which in turn introduced more bubbles.

Lexi was not sure how long she lay bubbling and giggling, as time did not seem to exist in this exceptional form. Soon she found herself reforming, and this time, as soon as she was able, she gulped down the rest of the first bottle.

As she became a puddle once more, she felt the urge to scratch herself, and she reached–

Reached?

“I...formed an arm!” she exclaimed. She could see an actual limb coming from her shapeless body. It was not quite whole, but when she focused on it, she was able to push it into a globby hand. With a further push, she was able to stretch five translucent fingers from it.

Giving a cry of excitement, she set to forming another arm. “I must look so funny!” she said out loud. “A puddle of ooze with arms!” Then she was forcing herself into human form, forming legs, gaining a torso and head...

And there she stood, wobbling uncertainly. She was a human being...constructed from ooze.

She flopped back onto the bed, relishing the form. “Oh, I hope I don't get the sheets all sticky!” she laughed, jumping down. She lost her footing and skidded to the floor, rolling around and getting caught on herself. “Gosh, I'm seriously sticking to myself! Hey...wait...” she hugged her arms and legs together, pushing her head into her chest. She could feel herself becoming spherical, arms and legs disintegrating into the larger mass that was Lexi...

“I'm a ball!” she murmured. “Yes!” She began to roll around the room. The feeling of rubbing against the floorboards was as arousing as she had imagined, and she continued to do it until she snagged on a splinter.

She had been rolling so rapidly that it pulled her apart, and by the time she came to a stop, she had stretched across the room, now a long, thick string.

This felt so oddly nice that she remained in this form, quivering but still.

Then she began to slither around, marveling at the fact that there had been no pain from her 'accident'. She liked this shape, and decided, if she ever got the money, she wanted to be a real snake for a while.

She commenced to play with her form. She shortened herself, forming a cube, then a pyramid, and then a rocket-shaped object. “This one's for you, Jordan. You said you always wanted your own rocket as a kid. Yup, that's a rich man's son for you. Any other kid wants a video game or something. You wanted a rocket.” She moaned and shuddered. “And you almost had the sexiest rocket ever for a wife. Oh, boy, if you could see me now!”

Fully human, Lexi grabbed the second bottle, studying the instructions once more. “Damn it, I want twinning power!” she announced to the empty room. She wasn't sure what time it was, or even if it was late or early in the day. Nothing mattered except changing. She chugged the whole bottle, and was transforming even before she was finished. The last few gulps were hard to force down a throat that was basically ooze, but she managed.

She fell to the floor almost immediately. With a happy burst of energy, she began to force herself apart, becoming two puddles with a sharp crack. There she remained, taking in the strange sensation of being two separate, unconnected pieces. She could move both parts of her, and she could feel all of herself in both puddles. She twisted and rubbed them each other, and she savored the bizarreness of the situation by splitting both of herself into half again.

Now she was a quartet of puddles, and her view was getting odder and odder. She could see the room from four different angles, and as she shifted each puddle around the room, it was simply mind-blowing.

When she divided again, she became dizzy from the sixteen assorted views. She pushed all of her various selves towards the center of the room once more, first forming a gooey face on the floor, then retracting into a ball again. Tighter and tighter she packed herself until she resembled one of the little rubber balls found in gum machines. She was quite firm and springy this way, and she could not stop herself from bouncing all over, colliding with the walls, the ceiling, and the floor.

When she came to a standstill, she took a small rest, and then it was time.

She melted into a puddle once more, then separated into two, and began to re-form – from both puddles.

Two Lexis rose slowly from the pools, trembling and transparent as before. Lexi was both, and she was so overwhelmed by this, that both goo-girls ran and clasped each other tightly. “Wonderful!” one of her cried. Unfortunately this embrace was leading them to combine back together.

Lexi pulled her arm from the other Lexi's stomach, and both began to laugh hysterically.

“Well, I always wanted to explore myself,” the other Lexi said, and both did just that.

Lexi stood in front of herself, wondering just how much time she had left like this. “Let's try some more stuff. I'll need you back,” she said to her twin.

As the twin, she announced, “I'm melting! I'm melting!”, doing her best Wicked Witch of the West impression. She shook and contorted dramatically into an shapeless mass which retained its features. “Let's pick me up!” it said.

The humanoid Lexi left bent down and picked up the rest of her, wrapping it around her body like a towel and crushing it into her. “That's weird,” she commented. “I'm pushing me into me. And it feels great!”

She had merged back into one, and the dual-world view disappeared. That made her feel slightly wistful, and she lay back on her bed, pondering her life while playing with her jiggly arm. How might things have gone had she simply gotten the money from Jordan without telling him what it was for? Being goo with another person might have been even more amazing.

Or maybe not. She hated Jordan so much, she did not wish to give him any pleasure any longer.

And yet, it might have been fun to simply slip some potion into his drink and scare the crap out of him. He would become a puddle, and all that false bravado would be washed away in an instant. She'd go stomp on him...

Actually, it was something she still could do...

She eyed the last bottle in her hand. In her other palm, she grasped a small vial that hung on a chain. She filled the vial with some potion, then capped it tightly and placed it on the nightstand.

“Bon voyage!” she shouted, and downed the remainder of the bottle.

The Lexi-puddle had pooled on a plush rug. Little parts of her were falling between the fibers, and it tickled all over. “Time to turn into a cloud!” she breathed, and as she focused on this goal, she felt herself getting lighter, and more and more of her seemed to be floating away. It was as if she was separating into molecules, of which she could feel every one, and all of her was regathering somewhere far above the plush carpet.

Soon she was bobbing up against the ceiling. She felt so light, and just so...lovely! “I'm a cloud!” she giggled happily, her cloud-lips forming a huge grin. The room looked so different from up here! She peered down at the vial on her dresser. That would be her revenge on Jordan. He deserved a wedding gift, too. She formed an arm from her cloud body, passing it over her lips and throwing the vial a kiss. “Muah!” she called to it, and then proceeded to disintegrate into rain.

The re-formed puddle of Lexi slithered into the bathroom to the Jacuzzi. She filled it up with herself, increasing her mass until she reached the top. Then, gingerly, she turned it on, and it began to bubble her nearly to boiling while sucking parts of her in and out of the returns.

No human being could ever get her to such a height of ecstasy, and she remained fixed in this situation until the bottle wore off hours later. Her vacation had ended on a high note. Higher than any note possible, she was quite sure.

“You went on the vacation? Really? You used my money? You're really something, Lexi!”

Jordan had met her at a restaurant to bring her some things and to smooth out any loose ends. Lexi wasn't looking to make up, but she did want her belongings back and, of course, she had one more gift for him. And to deliver it, she had made sure to secure a table in the empty back room, in the darkest corner.

“The tickets were non-refundable, and you said you didn't want anything from me. I could keep the gifts, the money...”

“But I was mad! Really, I could have used the ticket too, or given it to someone, or sold it, or...whatever! I mean, that's a lot of money!”

“Not to you it isn't,” Lexi muttered. But she didn't care what he said to her. She just wished the waitress would return with his stupid coffee!

Anxiously, she fingered the vial hanging from the chain around her neck.

Jordan's cell phone rang, and he looked down at it. “Oh, gotta take this. The big boss.” He walked to the front door, and as if by providence, the waitress came and set down their drinks.

Lexi smiled, and delivered the goods. She hoped he didn't taste anything out of the ordinary when he drank.

“I hate my job,” Jordan muttered, sitting back down. “Gotta get back there soon. So... did you buy that crap potion you were talking about?” He pushed over a shopping bag to her containing a shirt, two cds, and a book.

“Where's my jacket?” Lexi asked, actually not caring in the least.

“I don't have your damned jacket,” he muttered, chugging the coffee in one gulp.

Lexi jumped up in uncontrolled glee at this stroke of luck. “Oh, you did that so well, Jordan!” she was almost at a loss for words as she was so happy with her impending victory.

He glanced at her in confusion. “What the hell does that mean...oo!” he cried, grabbing his stomach in shock. “What is this...”

“It's the potion, silly!” Lexi laughed, watching as he swiftly grew transparent.

“Potion?” he gasped, staggering to the floor. “You...spiked my...drink...oh, God...”

Jordan was melting out of his clothes so quickly, Lexi was actually surprised. She hadn't given him that much of a dose. Maybe the fear was fueling his change? Who cared? It was great!

The puddle on the floor lay blinking up at her in horror. It had retained a very small face, and Lexi had to lean down to hear it speak. “What the hell did you do to me? What am I?” it squeaked in terror.

“You're a puddle of goo! Just like you deserve!” she explained merrily. She picked up one of the disposable coffee cups from the table and crushed him into it. As she had suspected, it was quite easy to compact him, like she had when she became a hard rubbery ball.

“Get me out of here!” whimpered the little face on top of the cup's contents.

“Never!” Lexi silenced him with a cover.

She picked up his clothes, paid their bill, and walked out, feeling very fortunate that no one had seen what had transpired.

She smashed the cup down on the kitchen counter and began searching through the silverware drawer. Jordan's whines from his prison egged her on, and she found a nice long spoon. She positioned the cup in front of her and removed the cover.

Jordan's little face twisted into a look of dismay. “Oh, no, what are you doing with that?” He yelled as she plunged the spoon into him, mixing and twisting him until his features stretched and blended away, leaving a few small bubbles. She popped them, and then watched his face re-form. “Oh, please don't. You're making me so nauseated...” But again she erased his face, churning him vigorously.

She then dumped him out of the cup onto her kitchen floor. For a moment, he held the shape of the cup, then he melted into a pool, letting out what probably were screams, but sounded more like bird chirps. Lexi snickered. She had craved this transformation for herself and she had enjoyed it immensely. However, for Jordan, it appeared to be the biggest living nightmare of his life. She wondered if it felt good to him at all. She hoped if it did, he was too scared to notice.

Jordan's fearful eyes now were stuck gazing at the ceiling, and he shuddered slightly. “My God, I'm a puddle of...nothing...Please, please change me back. You can have the money. I'll never bother you again!”

“If you're so ashamed of my 'economic status', why did you ever want to marry me?” Lexi demanded, removing her shoes.

“You're cute?” said the jelly-like mass weakly.

“You bastard! That's it? What, you needed a cute girl to show off to your stupid country-club friends? You know, I always hated your friends and your family. They're all so fake and snobby!”

“And your family's a bunch of peasants!”

With that, Lexi slowly and deliberately stepped into him, stomping happily and squashing him underfoot. He squooshed between her toes, and she wriggled them through him. His cries met her ears, and, satisfied, she gathered him up in her hand. She squished him tightly into a ball, silencing his cries as she forced him together.

Then she sat back in a chair and bounced him against a wall.

“Won't you ever change me back?” he murmured as she readied him for her next throw. In response, she began to roll him in his hands, growing him into a long snaky form like she had previously assumed.

He made a small moan.

“Oh, so this isn't so bad, Jordan?”

“Well...”

“Then, we can't have that. No more playing with you.” Lexi affixed him around her neck like a necklace, and lay down in her bed. “Well, at least you're good for something. You make good jewelry.”

“Oh, God,” the necklace murmured in defeat.

Lexi awoke to increasing weight around her neck. “Oh, what's happening to me?” her necklace gasped as it enlarged.

“Yuck!” Lexi cried, tossing it to the floor. She watched in fascination as it turned back to a human, very naked, male.

“What should we make you next? How about some dental floss for me?” Lexi leapt at him from the bed. He jumped up with a shriek of horror, grabbing up his pants from the kitchen and draping them around his waist as he ran out the door.

She never heard from him again.

The snake luxuriated in the sun rays pouring through the window. Lexi liked this form. It was relaxing. The sun felt wonderful on her scaly back, and resting in this way was better than meditation.

Next week, she'd try the spaghetti potion.

This series is probably your third greatest work, tied with Mother Nature (at least in my humble opinion). But I do have to say, the folder, “Potion Place, Gena” could really use some cleaning up. It is possible, on PC, to reorder the posts in a folder, believe it or not.
